Loved it!!!

I used mine down here in the Salt Marshes of SoCal. Definitely gave me the edge I needed for everyone around me was using Mojos after November 30th so the birds were educated to those. These WindWhackers gave the birds a different flash pattern and changed with the wind perfectly. I will be purchasing the teal/ dove setup. I have found the closer to the water the better effectiveness as well. I also took it to NorCal in my old stomping grounds of Gridley and they worked out amazing in a 30mph wind with rain. Where electronics would fail. It drew in birds that were being blown out of other ponds and were riding the wind out and it brought them down on top the spread within perfect shooting range. I look forward to picking up more products from yall for this next season. And putting the word out to the rest of the Military folk I serve with down here in the Ventura area.

Wind Whacker

Bought a wind Wacker. When I set it up I realized the main pole connector was made out of plastic? I don’t think it will last long. The wing connectors seem weak as well. They just slide into a slot and get squished by the screw cap. I set it up in the yard and it works great. I like how it works but I think the key components are cheap. Recommend using aluminum or steel for main connector. Switch wing rods to a cotter pin connection. My two cents. We will see how long it lasts. I hunt a lot.

Wind Wacker

I bought one. Put it together and placed on a pile in my front yard. Wind hasn’t blown since. Haha. I like the product but really think it’s going to crack with moderate use. I recommend they modify the conduit connector to aluminum or steel. The wing connectors seem weak as well. Steel rod with cotter pins would be better.

Wind Whacker Review

I did an OPTEST on a day when the wind was 5 mph, and the blades spun nicely. The blades will definitely attract the birds during times of minimal wind. However, I was not impressed with the cap fixture that goes over the conduit. It is made of plastic that is not thick enough to withstand the pressure it will have on it in winds over 15 mph. Buyer beware. You may have to reinforce the cap fixture with zip-ties to prevent cracking.

Windwacker double

Works just like advertised and adds great motion and flash to catch the eye of ducks from a long ways out.
